Trump’s approval craters w/immigrants & Latinos: Enten & experts unpack

Support from naturalized immigrant and Latino voters helped Donald Trump win the White House in 2024. But since then, that support has collapsed. As CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten points out, Trump’s net approval rating among immigrant voters has plunged 44 points in less than two years: “That’s a shift. . .away from the President of the United States amongst a group that he did historically well with for a Republican presidential candidate.”

Also, a new NBC/Telemundo poll released Sunday finds that Latino voters have deeply soured on Trump and the GOP, particularly on crucial economic issues. Mike Madrid, author of “The Latino Century,” and CNN senior political commentator Ana Navarro look at the sharp decline in Latino support for Trump since the 2024 election.
